Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. EDT– “Bad, Bad Leroy Brown: Standard & Bass Duet” – This Jim Croce classic story-song hit #1 in 1973, which sadly was the same year that he passed. The song itself will be easy to learn since there is no B section; the chord progression is the same for the verse and chorus.

Although the standard melody part doesn’t go above the 3rd fret (our comfort zone!), the song has some challenging rhythms, so it is therefore appropriate for the intermediate to upper intermediate player. The bass part utilizes a 1+ fret because you just can’t groove without it! If you have a 0+ fret, it will even be groovier, but it’s not required.

Due to copyright restrictions, participants must first purchase an authorized copy of the tabs from Sheet Music Plus:
