(7:30 EST) This class will get you started on your path to playing bass dulcimer like a true bass player! We will begin with information covered in the “It’s All About the Bass Dulcimer” workshop that has been offered at QuaranTUNE, but we'll go more in depth and have lots more playing time. The class will be devoted solely to the alternating bass pattern which fits the bulk of the traditional mountain dulcimer repertoire. You'll learn the basics and then move on to how to “get fancy” with walk-ups, walk-downs, etc. between chord changes. Tabs and audio files will be emailed in advance.
