Your living space!

This workshop, which utilizes a partner standard and bass arrangement of Canon in D, is the perfect opportunity for you to utilize and reinforce your study of chord shapes or simply learn a beautiful Baroque period song that has a harmonic progression found in numerous tunes of today. You’ll end up with an arrangement that becomes a medley of popular tunes – in almost “name that tune” fashion -- set against the greatest hit of the 1700’s.

Participant's will also receive a chord study tab of Pachelbel's Canon to introduce and reinforce the main chord shapes found on the dulcimer. This will also serve as a great review for those who are familiar with the concept while giving you a versatile yet practical practice and performance piece.

As a bonus you will also receive demonstration audio files in two speeds to help your practice.

The event will take place online using Zoom, the free video conferencing platform. You will need a computer, iPad or smartphone equipped with a camera and microphone in order to attend the class. After you register, your email receipt will contain the Zoom link for the class. However, you will also receive the link in an email the day before along with the aforementioned files.
